The AI Act sets no fine specifically for Article 4, but national regulators have supervised the AI literacy duty since 2 August 2026, and national penalty rules can cover any infringement of the Act. A record of the measures you have taken is your answer if a regulator, client or court asks. The highest fines in the Act, for banned AI practices, reach €35 million or 7% of global annual turnover; for SMEs the lower of the two applies.

No. The AI Act requires no certified body and no specific course. Article 4 asks you to take measures that support your staff's AI literacy, suited to their knowledge and the AI tools they use. Our certificates of completion are evidence of training, not a statutory certification.
